Rode it on Thursday...

I personally really liked it, you get a lot more grip on the stuff compared to dendex (which is already good compared to other materials) so could fit lots of turns in it even going slow, these were actual edge turns...not rubbish sliding turns...

The bristles are pretty stiff and strong much more so than dendex, so it doesnt give the softest of landings, but its definetly an improvement to the metal underneath dendex...and you dont catch your fingers/thumbs in it obviously...

I'm not sure how you'd fit rails/kickers into it etc as inside of the diamonds is attached to the diamonds themselves, so you cant get ties underneath it. But then you snowflex and perma snow found ways so im sure its not that big an issue... It gets the thumbs up from me so far...

I'd really like to try a bigger area of it as i think it has a lot of potential...

On sunday night

On Sunday night the dendix was partly frozen, and partly bone dry and running very poorly, so I tried the new stuff, compared to dry dendix it seemed to run faster, and much more smoothly, edge grip seemed OK, but it was difficult to tell with such a small area. In those poor conditions it was better than the dendix!

"We set up a small test slope in the height of a scorching cornish summer with no undelay or irigation and despite the varying factors that should have spelt disaster I was blown away with how well this surface rides. It held great edge control, slid well and provided great response and bounce whilst at the same time maintaing good control. Over the length of slope that we tested there was no major heat build up when straight lining and with a decent water system I'm sure this surface would hold up well! With regards to freestyle shaping, I would imagine that the surface would be pretty conducive to shaping features and would give good run-off for features. I was very impressed and would love to see this surface put into place at my local slope!"
